The S1 Rallye were designed as a homologation special to compete in the 1300cc rally class. It featured a four cylinder, 8 valve, high compression engine with an aggressive cam profile designed to come ‘on song’ between 5400 and the 7200rpm redline. 'What strikes you is how alive the whole car feels, from the steering with its consistent flow of granular feedback, to the engine with its razor responses and a glorious, ever-increasing keenness to rev. Its unburstable enthusiasm and manic work rate infect the whole car, egging you on to drive it harder and faster'
This has benefitted from a complete strip down and rebuild and is in immaculate condition throughout - the shell was stripped bare and resprayed throughout in original colour , all suspension components were replaced or powder coated , the car is as clean underneath as it is on top! There wont be many around as clean as this one. These are quickly appreciating in value and becoming sort after classics with that back to basics thrill
Plus £1000 towards running costs.
